Docs Connect Claude
Connect Claude
CADMCP.AI works as a custom connector in Claude. You add it once, sign in with your CADMCP.AI account, and turn it on in the chats where you want it.
Which Claude plans work
Custom connectors are available on Claude Free (one custom connector), Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise. Your Claude usage is billed by Anthropic under your own plan. CADMCP.AI never asks for your Claude password or keys.
Claude on the web and desktop
- In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector.
- Enter the name CADMCP.AI and this URL:
Connector URL
https://mcp.cadmcp.ai/mcpAvailable at launch - Select Add, then Connect.
- A CADMCP.AI sign-in page opens. Sign in with your CADMCP.AI account, read what Claude is asking to do, and allow it.
- In a chat, open the tools menu and check that CADMCP.AI is switched on.
A connector added this way is tied to your Claude account, so it is also available in the Claude mobile apps.
Claude Team and Enterprise
In an organisation, an owner first adds CADMCP.AI under the organisation’s connector settings. Each member then connects it and signs in with their own CADMCP.AI account, so every person’s requests reach only their own computers.
Claude Code
In a terminal, add the connector, then sign in from inside Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http cadmcp https://mcp.cadmcp.ai/mcp
Start Claude Code, type /mcp, choose cadmcp and follow the sign-in link.
Check that it works
Ask Claude: What can CADMCP.AI do?
Claude should call a CADMCP.AI tool and describe what is available. To work on a model, your computer also needs the agent running and your CAD program open; see Install the agent.
Remove the connector
In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and remove CADMCP.AI. To stop all access at once from your computer instead, use Pause AI access in the agent.
