Connectors PTC Creo
PTC Creo connector
- Planned
- Creo TOOLKIT and J-Link
Parameters, relations, features and drawings through Creo's official programming toolkits. With CADMCP.AI you would ask for this work in plain words from Claude or Codex, and every change would wait for a person’s approval.
- Your AI app
- CADMCP.AI server
- Agent on your computer
- Creo TOOLKIT and J-Link
- A person approves
- PTC Creo
Status: planned. The PTC Creo connector is not built yet; SOLIDWORKS comes first. This page describes what the PTC Creo connector is designed to do, so you can tell us whether it fits your work. Nothing on it has been tested with PTC Creo.
Examples of requests
The kind of work this connector is for. You would write your own the same way: say what you want, with sizes and names.
- Show me every parameter in this part and which relations drive them.
- Add an instance to the family table with LENGTH = 300.
- List the assembly's components with their materials.
- Export the drawing to PDF and the model to STEP.
The tasks it should cover
- Read and set parameters and relations
- Create and modify features, then regenerate
- Work with family tables
- Assemble components and report on assemblies
- Create drawings for review
- Export to STEP, PDF and other formats
What any connector can do depends on the program, its version and your licence. We will publish what the PTC Creo connector really does when it is ready, and not before.
Creo TOOLKIT and J-Link
The Creo connector is planned to drive Creo Parametric through its official programming toolkits: Creo TOOLKIT for C and J-Link for Java.
The CADMCP.AI Agent runs on the Windows PC where Creo Parametric is installed, next to a small Creo application that shows each change for approval.
The AI proposes. A person approves. Then it runs.
Your AI app can read, measure and plan. Anything that would change your model becomes a request that shows the exact change. It runs only after a person approves it inside the CAD program, and you can always decline.
Your tools, your licences
- Creo Parametric installed and licensed on your Windows PC
- Your own AI app: Claude (Free, Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise) or OpenAI Codex. AI usage is billed to your own AI plan.
- A CADMCP.AI account. Early access is free.
Your model stays yours
Your CAD files stay on your computer. Requests and tool results pass through our server on their way to your AI app, and we do not train AI models on them.
